The first weekend of 2017 has arrived in Oakville, and the last weekend of kids' Winter Break is already upon us, and it appears that it will be extremely cold according to Environment Canada.
It isn't a particularly business first weekend, but there are lots of things to do from grabbing a bite to eat in one of Oakville's fabulous restaurants, to skating in one of our many indoor arenas. If you feel like taking in a great game of hockey on Friday, January 6, 2017, head to the 16 Mile Creek Arena and watch the Oakville Blades play the Burlington Cougars. The puck drops are 7:30 PM.
