Need to clean out your garage or basement? Have old toys you need to sell? Come out to Oakvillegreen Conservation Association’s 9th Annual Community Garage Sale. With more than 60 vendors, this event will be an excellent opportunity to sell your stuff or find great deals.
The Garage Sale will be held on Saturday, May 24, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (rain or shine) at the Oakville Town Hall parking lot 1225 Trafalgar Road (just north of the QEW).
If you would like to rent a spot to sell your items, the cost is $25 if registered and paid for by May 16th. After May 16th, spaces will cost $30. To reserve a spot call Margaret at 289-813-1568 or email her at [email protected]
The Giant Community Garage is also a great opportunity for community groups, clubs, sports teams and schools to raise money for their group. Simply collect goods to sell from your members and rent a spot. Oakvillegreen takes care of organizing and advertising this event.
On the same day, the Town of Oakville will also hold its annual Oakville Conserves Energy Conservation Fair inside Town Hall. Hosting these two events together ensures a good turn out to both events.
