In respect to the fashion world, it is currently "Resort Season" and I put a few looks together with Black Caviar Owner Julia De Rubeis, show-casing some of the upcoming fashion trends and the hottest items in the store.

Look 1: Theory: Silk Blouse & Trousers, Tom Binns: Cuffs & Forget Me Not: Scarf, Models Own: Shoes

Make-Up by: Sara Sohail

The look on our model Numayrah Huda is great because it showcases the use of different tones of blues which was a huge trend for the SS14 season. Also the gold bangles contrasts well and adds an accent to the monochromatic blue outfit.

Look 2: Theory: Blouse, Jacket and Trousers; Necklace: Tom Binns, Clutch: Kotur

2

This look is perfect for a date-night/girls-night look. I love the structure the jacket adds to the relaxed blouse & trousers, the real colored pearl necklace adds a pop of colour and the kotur clutch is the perfect conversation piece.

Look 3: Theory: Dress, Kotur: Clutch, Tom Binns: Necklace

I like how Theory had their take on the little black dress this season. Instead of the being super-short and body-hugging, the dress if flowy and voluminous - however the dress maintains a tailored look which is great for a day-to-night look. The detail on this Tom Binns necklace is truly amazing, here is a zoom in:

Look 4 & 5 - One Pant - Two Looks

4: Banjo & Matilda Cashmere Sweater & Trousers, 5: Theory Top, Banjo & Matilda Cashmere Trousers

Banjo & Matilda are infamous for their impeccable cashmere garments and I love how you can dress their pieces up, while remaining comfortable. The cashmere pants were a cool take on the tuxedo trouser and the matching sweater has the bold star print. For the 5th and final look, I dressed up the trousers with a floral Theory Blouse for a more work appropriate look. Also, floral patterns have been the biggest trend for the past two seasons and remain strong for the resort, spring and summer seasons this year.

Mens Resort Style:

Lastly is my personal resort inspired look. I went for a light beige Mexx blazer, a blue shirt from Club Monaco, Trousers from J.Lindeberg and Cole Haan Monkstraps. The look is comfortable and breathable for the spring/summer season. The biggest trend for menswear for the following warm seasons is colored suiting. Start with a lighter blue blazer and work your way to brighter colours. Also, if you do choose to be safer with the blazer in terms of colour, go for a bright shirt or pant! In terms of casual menswear,  fill-up on chinos, polo shirts, shorts (with patterns too), suede loafers. Go colour crazy!
