Award winners named for Oakville Business Excellence 2024

Recipients will be honoured at the 29th Annual Oakville Awards for Business Excellence gala on May 29, 2024, at the Oakville Conference Centre.

Three winners have been announced for this year's Oakville Awards for Business Excellence and will be celebrated for their contributions to the Oakville community and business landscape at an upcoming gala.

The Oakville Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club of Oakville West has announced this year’s recipients for the CN Not-for-Profit Award, the Bell Community Builder Award, and the Business Icon Award.

“We received a record number of nominations and the judges have done an incredible job to select the 32 finalists," said France Fournier, president & CEO at Oakville Chamber of Commerce.

The distinguished awards include:

The CN Not-for-Profit Award: recognizing not-for-profit organizations who are highly regarded in the area for
raising funds and providing services to improve the lives of people within the community.

The Bell Community Builder Award: recognizes a business that has, over a period of time, demonstrated
exemplary business practices and dedicated involvement in the community.

The Business Icon Award: recognizes a prominent Oakville business which is highly regarded in the business community.

The distinguished award recipients for this year are:

  • CN Not-for-Profit Award: Halton Women’s Place.
  • Bell Community Builder Award: MG Shore Restaurants, Tim Hortons owned and operated by Geoff Shore.
  • Business Icon Award: Cherry & Hoyle Roofing Ltd.

Recipients will be honoured at the 29th Annual Oakville Awards for Business Excellence gala on May 29, 2024, at the Oakville Conference Centre.

The evening will also recognize 32 finalists over 9 categories. Award recipients of each category will be announced at the gala. Tickets are available for purchase at www.oakvillechamber.com.
