Oakville man charged with impaired following Georgetown traffic stop

An Oakville man has been charged with impaired driving following a traffic stop in Georgetown early Sunday morning.

At 1:40 a.m. on Oct. 27, Halton Police pulled a vehicle over in the area of Eighth Line and Miller Drive in Georgetown.

As a result of its investigation, police charged a 51-year-old Oakville resident with operation while impaired and operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration 80 mg or more, within two hours. 

Halton Regional Police no longer name individuals facing impaired charges.
